Awards following play

 

The Blade Junior Golf Classic originated in 1999 with the main purpose of providing a first class junior golf tournament at a first class golf course. We also wanted to be able to give back to junior golf and promote and develop the game here in South Carolina. Over the years, The Blade has become the premier junior golf tournament in the state. Other highlights of the tournament have been the Haas All-Star Clinic that has been conducted by PGA Tour Professional Jay Haas for the past 3 years. We are also proud of our Corporate Challenge Junior Am held the Monday prior to the beginning of the tournament. In 2005 we announced our partnership with the Children's Hospital of the Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center to help fund research for Pediatric Leukemia. It can't be said any better than "kids helping kids".
